What is the W211 Mercedes E55 AMG?

The Mercedes-Benz W211 is a executive car which was produced by the German automaker Mercedes-Benz from 2003 to 2009, under the E-Class model names.  The 2003-06 W211 monikered "E55 AMG", has a powerful 5.4L Supercharged Engine boasting 469HP and 516ft/lbs of torque - nicknamed "The Beast".  

The 2007-09 W211 model years begat the E63 naming convention with a 6.2L naturally aspirated engine pushing 507HP and 465ft/lbs of torque.  Some minor face-lift changes were performed as well.
